Saurav Ajmera

Saurav Ajmera is one of the Directors of Prowess Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. He has close to 22 years of experience in the technology field. His prior experience includes working as a Business Systems Analyst and as a Data Developer at excelleRx Inc., USA where he architected business intelligence solutions and helped managed data. He earned a MS in Quantitative Management – Health Analytics from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, Durham and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Temple University, Philadelphia.

Dr. Mahendra K. Jain

Dr. Mahendra K. Jain was vice president of the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation (KSTC), and founding executive director of the Kentucky Science and Engineering Foundation (KSEF) — an organization created for developing excellence in science and engineering and for serving as an essential resource for scientists and engineers and small technology businesses throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Dr. Jain applies over 35 years of his teaching, research and management experience in directing KSEF, making R&D investments in novel ideas for innovation, and in executing proactive programs for building human capital and stronger research and development capabilities in cutting-edge technologies. Before joining KSTC, Dr. Jain worked at several universities and organizations in India, Europe and the United States including MBI International, a biotechnology R&D organization in Lansing, Michigan. He has been a consultant to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Organization of American States (OAS), and to select industrial clients. He has also served as an expert to Bremen Overseas Research and Development Agency (BORDA), Germany, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), DBT / University of Goa, and to UNDP/CSIR under the TOKTEN Program.

Dr. Mahendra Jain has professional interests in both basic and applied R&D, and development and application of technologies. Dr. Jain serves on the board of the Collaborative for Teaching and Learning, Kentucky Tobacco Research Board, the University of Louisville-Speed School of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board, and the Advisory Board of the Kentucky Science and Engineering Foundation.

Dr. Jain received his under-graduate degree from the University of Udaipur, and his masters and doctorate degrees from I.A.R.I., New Delhi in 1969 and 1972, respectively. He was also awarded W.V. Ramalingam Medal for achieving the highest GPA (4.00/4.00) in Ph.D. Dr. Jain has published over 120 research papers, articles, and book chapters, and is the recipient of 10 United States and one Canadian patents to his credit.

Over forty three years of teaching statistics across disciplines; authored or co-authored 45 research papers; co-authored two books on Statistical Methods in Food and Consumer Research; co-edited one on Recent Advances in Experimental Designs and Related Topics; co-edited a special issues of the Journal of Risk Finance, and one of the Journal of Applied Statistical Science; elected Fellow of the American Statistical Association; elected member of the International Statistical Institute; recipient of the Great Teacher Award of Temple University; the Frank/Andrisani Teaching Award of the Fox School of Business and Management; the Stauffer Award of the Temple University Alumni Association.
